Universal Processing Headquarters is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Marketing Sales Associate to join the team. As a Marketing Sales Associate you are the first point of contact prospective clients have with Universal Processing and play a vital role in our overall growth. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the client base by presenting professional yet tailored digital marketing solutions along with cutting-edge payment solutions to local businesses. Through our training program, you will develop an expertise in the area of payment processing and digital marketing. Given the tools you learned from the two areas, combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities, we can shape how these small and medium-sized businesses grow.

You will report to our VP of Business Development and work with a group of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and highly skilled professionals. This is an entry-level position designed for those who persistently explore and uncover the needs of potential clients.   • Gather leads, conduct introductory calls, and set appointments with potential clients
  • Engage conversations with small and medium-sized business owners by introducing products and services
  • Plan and recommend digital marketing strategies for current and potential clients
  • Influence prospects through well-prepared sales scripts to set appointments
  • Obtain business information such as business name, address, current marketing strategies, payment method, sales volume, and current pricing; inputting lead information into database
  • Gather credit card processing statements for pricing analysis
  • Schedule appointments for Management to meet with prospects
  • Follow up with potential clients to further engage business opportunities
  • Manage the business pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success


  • Must be well-spoken and driven by results
  • Independent, comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient
  • Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish etc.)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cold calling new business (No worries if you don’t, we are happy to offer all the training)
  • Understanding of credit card processing, merchant services, or generally interested in the financial services industry or digital marketing
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota



Hourly wage (W-2) and bonuses
