Title: Bilingual Marketing and Client Relations Intern

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 2-3 months, flexible working hours, maximum 20 hours/week

Location: Houston, TX (must be able to come in for face-to-face interview)

Summary: Universal Processing Houston office is seeking a Marketing and Client Relations intern. This intern will work closely with the Managing Partner in New York office to develop communication and marketing skills in the real business world. The tasks in this internship will focus on building relationships with existing clients, reviewing current user experience and analyzing marketing data.

Your learning experience will include:

Greet, interact and maintain relationships with existing clients over the phone
Conduct interviews to evaluate the current user experience, propose recommendations to manager based on the information collected
Work closely with Marketing Department to grow new followers and engage with existing audiences through social media
Read merchant information from Merchant Insight to analyze customer demographics, return rates, and card association users


Current students pursuing Marketing, Communications, and Business related degrees. Students interested in payment processing industry are strongly encouraged to apply
Outgoing, friendly, and enjoy communicat with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
Multitasking and ability to prioritize workload
Ability to work independently and in teams


This is an unpaid internship. School credit can be offered if desired.
